Announcement:
Professor Leonid Kazovsky
co-chaired a workshop at the prestigious 2009 Optical Fiber
Communication Conference (OFC) with K. McCammon from AT&T.
The workshop, titled Migration Scenarios towards Future
Access Networks, featured talks by leading
telecommunications companies and networking equipment
manufacturers on the future of the access network, likely
technological challenges in building new access networks, and
evolution scenarios to bridge the gap between future and current
architectures.
